Paul Yocham

Paul E. Yocham passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021. He was born in Claremore, OK on May 27th of 1935. He married the love of his life, Jackie Lee Sheffield in March of 1950 in Buckeye, AZ.

They were blessed with three children, Paul Douglas, Sharon and Freddy.

Paul made his living as an iron worker and despite his lack of a formal education, he rose to the top ranks in his company and became very successful in his line of work.

Paul and Jackie spent many years in Arizona building a life-long relationship with family and friends. The family later relocated to Wewoka, OK where they enjoyed time spent with their grandchildren.

Paul loved to play his guitar and teach his grandkids some of his favorite songs. Those songs and all the memories made will be cherished by his grandchildren for all their days.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie Yocham, daughter Sharon Joan Yocham, son Carl Frederick Yocham and great-grandson Dustin Lockhart.

Paul is survived by his dear friend and loyal companion Flora Marie Wade of the home; Flora’s daughter and son-in-law Ann Wade Epperly and Chris Epperly of Wewoka, OK; son Paul Douglas Yocham of Phoenix, AR; great-grandchildren Jasmine, Jayda, and Jordyn Payne of Tulsa, OK and Liberty Epperly of Wewoka, OK; grandchildren Shawn, Glen, Nichole, Cody, Cameron and Mindy, two brothers; Terry and Sonny Boone of Arizona, as well as 16 other great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service was held at 11:00am Friday, January 22, 2021 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, OK.
