Caren Marie Bennett

Caren Marie Bennett passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

Caren was born May 25, 1951 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Ardal Hayes and Frances (Hampton) Hayes. Caren graduated from Holdenville High School. She was a member at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Holdenville. Caren enjoyed garage sales, fishing, and spending time with family.

Caren is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Jerry Hayes, Lynna Rives and Sue Buck.

She is survived by her son Robert Bennett of Kansas City, Missouri; siblings Judy Wallace of Skiatook, and Carol Wakeley of Shawnee. Caren is survived by numerous other rela tives and friends.

Graveside service was 2:00pm, Saturday, February 24th, in the Holdenville Cemetery with speaker Bill Robinson assisted by Pastor Dane Robinson.

Pallbearers were Jerry Wakeley, Jimmy Wakeley, Albert Ragland, Eric Elliott, Aubie Keesee and Carson Elliott.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, OK.
