Library Receives ARPA Grant

Body Thanks to Kim Shed, Holdenville’s Grace M. Pickens Public Library will be receiving an ARPA (America Rescue Plan Act) grant for over $11,000. ARPA funds are made available through the Institute of Museum and Library Services Oklahoma Department of Libraries has allocated $1.

Body Holdenville American Legion Post 32 will host a reception for all area veterans Thursday, November 11 from 8:00-12:00. The new Legion Post location is 211 East Main in Holdenville. Coffee and donuts will be served to all veterans and their family members.

Body The Holdenville 4-H Club float stole the show this year in the Fall Festival parade. 4-H leaders, Jessica Yates and Amelia Allen had over 50 kids and even more volunteers help make this possible.
