The City of Holdenville has decided to enforce a euthanasia policy at the Holdenville Animal Shelter for all animals housed over thirty days. Kelly Smith of HALO pleaded with the council to give her 30 days to adopt out the 44 dogs that fit that criterion. The council agreed the policy will begin in 30 days, which is August 17.
