Former Hughes Countian Cecil Hood Honored

American Legion Post 204 is flying a burial flag the month of April in honor of a fallen soldier who also served as a lawman in Hughes County.

This month’s flag, which is being flown in Seminole’s Veterans Park, honors Cecil Hood, who passed away in May 2020 at the age of 78.
