BULLETPROOF BIBLE READING – EASY LIKE SUNDAY MORNING

Body
“The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.” Patrick Henry If I could offer one piece of advice to all of humanity, it would be this. Read the Bible. Read the entire Bible. If you are a believer, then this is an obvious consideration. If you are convinced that the God of the universe is real, and we have a book, accepted now for centuries as revelation of His existence and work, then you might want to read it. Few Christians do this. If you are a non-believer (atheist or agnostic, or perhaps have a different belief system), then I would challenge you to read the Bible anyway. You might want to know more just in case this God and Jesus stuff is real.

HOLDENVILLE SOCIETY OF PAINTERS AND SCULPTORS HOSTS MANDALA DOT PAINTING CLASS

Body
Your Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors offered a class of Mandala Dot Painting on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Participants were instructed in the art of Mandala Rock Painting by HSPS member and artist, Laura Calvery. Participants learned about the tools and supplies that had been provided to complete the class and what would be needed in the future to further explore the art at home and in future classes. Supplies such as dotting tools, stencils, mediums for preparation of a wood piece for practice, or a rock were discussed by the accomplished instructor. Other supplies such as paints and sealers were discussed and demonstrated. Laura demonstrated the new document camera and large screen television donated by her family to ensure that all class attendees could see the instructor’s example. This system will be used to enhance future workshops at HSPS such as the February and March workshops. Watch for more information coming soon.
Instructor, Laura Calvery shows the class some of the basic Mandala samples that can be completed with a little practice.
