HOLDENVILLE — An early morning burglary last month led to a foot pursuit, the recovery of multiple stolen firearms, and the identification of a suspect through security footage, according to a probable cause affidavit filed at the Hughes County Courthouse.

The family of a young boy who was badly burned in an explosion at the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum last weekend is suing the foundation that operates the museum for $10 million. Four-year-old Ryker Corona suffered second degree burns on his face, chest and arms during a visit to the museum on Saturday, June 21.

HOLDENVILLE — A suspicious vehicle parked on a vacant lot in Holdenville on the morning of June 9 led police to arrest a man on multiple felony charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle and drug paraphernalia, according to a probable cause affidavit filed at the Hughes County Courthouse.

In an end of the season awards dinner, Parker Robinson, Holdenville, was named Player of the Year in “A League of Their Own.” League organizers say she “showed all the core values you hope to see in any individual in any circumstance, on and off the field.
