Super Bowl LVI Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk Hughes County EMS Operations Supervisor, Chris Miller would like to remind county residents of the dangers of drinking and driving as fans get ready for Super Bowl Sunday on February 13. Each year, the Super Bowl garners millions of viewers, with many taking the opportunity to cheer on their favored team with a night out or by attending a party.

Cemetery Sexton, Waylon Ford is proud to announce the purchase of a brand new, much needed Ford F-250 flatbed truck to be used for work at the Holdenville Cemetery. The truck was purchased locally here at Perry’s Ford. The truck was paid for in full thanks to a generous donation of $250,000 from the estate of Ivan E. and Viola C. Rowe Trust back in November of 2020. The city and cemetery have seen major progress in the past few years. More improvements and upgrades to come in the months ahead.

Basketball Homecoming Saturday The 2022 basketball homecoming ceremony is set for Saturday at 1 P.M. The original date was January 15 but the opponent for the homecoming game was unable to field a team because of a Covid outbreak.
