The Holdenville Girls have earned a 7-0 record and the Holdenville Boys are 6-1. Both teams are off to a great start! And both teams have 4 games on their Pre-Christmas Schedule.

Holdenville Girls win Antlers’ Tournament The Holdenville Girls Basketball team started the week with a dominating performance over the McLoud Red Skins and finished the week with another dominating performance over Lone Grove. Holdenville whipped the Red Skins by a score of 86-52 and found very little competition in the tournament at Antlers.
The Wolverines will need some of Jordan Stafford’s sharp shooting from 3 point range to remain one of the top teams in the 66 Conference. The Wolverines are currently the top team in the conference and will host Meeker on Friday.

MCGIRT PLEADS GUILTY

The man at the center of the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on tribal jurisdiction pleads guilty to federal sex abuse charges. Jimcy McGirt is already serving a life sentence for a previous conviction.

HUGHES COUNTY RED HATS HOLD ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER

On November 11, 2023, the Red Hat Ladies met in the home of Lynn Marquis for our Thanksgiving Dinner, and it was delicious! We did a potluck dinner with turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes and all the extras that go with a Thanksgiving Dinner. We enjoyed our friends and good food.
