My cousin Jack Reynolds and wife Patsy came to Holdenville for a visit Wednesday. What a great time we had. It had been many years since we had seen them. Jack is the son of the late Ed and Marie Reynolds and was the 1971 HHS Valedictorian.
OUR POPULARITY PRINCESS is Miss Betty Bennett, who was selected by popular vote through a contest sponsored by the STUDENT PRESS. She is an outstanding senior, and not only does she have a radiant personality, but she is very active in many school activities. The students of H.H.S. are indeed proud to have such a popularity princess. Her runners’ up were Sue Hudson, Nan Oliphant and Mary Ellen Balch.

HEF Distributes $19,327.61 in Grants to Holdenville Teachers

Holdenville Education Foundation (HEF) made their annual tour of Holdenville Schools on, Tuesday, May 11. At each building HEF representative Jamie Neal visited teachers in their classroom as she passed out the greatly appreciated grants. At the end of the day HEF had invested a total of $19,327.61 in Holdenville Schools, their teachers, students, and the community in general.
