Patsy Ruth Freeman passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, at her home in Lamar, Oklahoma at the age of 83. Patsy was born August 29, 1937 in Tulare, California to James Mason McCoy and Alice Deteene McCoy.

It’s been over two years since the Holdenville ‘ Victory Bell ‘ made a sound at Wolverine Stadium. But a happy bunch of Wolverine players made an attempt to wear it out following Holdenville’s 16-8 win over the Lexington Bulldogs. Holdenville Head Coach, Monty Lewis, turned his squad loose on the bell immediately after the final gun and the team rushed to the north end of the stadium to signal to the world that the long home losing streak had ended.
