Good morning to you. Hasn’t this weather been great! I don’t think we are ever satisfied but I could take a couple of months of this weather. I was reading in the Book of John this week - what a great Disciple- I can imagine him on the seashore with James and the other apostles. Time may have dulled his memory but not his vision of JESUS. The sea shores may have wrinkled his face, but they didn’t soften his love for JESUS. He had been with HIM - how could he forget - the wine that moments before had been water - John could probably still taste it! The mud placed on the eyes of the blind man in Jerusalem - He could still remember it! The aroma of Mary’s perfume as it filled the room - He could still smell it! And the VOICE - HIS VOICE - John could still hear it! “I am the light of the world -- I am the door -- I am the Way, the Truth, the Life.” “I will come back and take you to be with ME.”

The 2020 Holdenville Fall Festival and Car Show was a huge success. This was due in part to the pleasant weather, but mostly to the hard work by the Holdenville Chamber of Commerce, who sponsor the Festival and Car Show, the Holdenville Business Women, who sponsor the Fall Festival Parade, and the many other organizations, businesses and individuals that contribute their time, energy, and funds to this celebration of all the positive things the Holdenville community has to offer.

Holdenville defeats Lexington 16-8

Body
It’s been over two years since the Holdenville ‘ Victory Bell ‘ made a sound at Wolverine Stadium. But a happy bunch of Wolverine players made an attempt to wear it out following Holdenville’s 16-8 win over the Lexington Bulldogs. Holdenville Head Coach, Monty Lewis, turned his squad loose on the bell immediately after the final gun and the team rushed to the north end of the stadium to signal to the world that the long home losing streak had ended.
